Photography and Digital Painting

Using traditional photography and digital painting techniques, I spend manyh hours taking my photographs from their original images and turn them into paintings.  It is a very hands-on process involving the use of a computer graphics tablet and pen.  The final image is printed with pigment inks on archival paper.

My current interest is in expressing the interactions of people with other people and their surroundings.  The everyday setting is a study of human activity that I* want to share, hoping to convey an intimacy between the subject and the viewer.  I also enjoy photographing trees and expressing their beautify through an artistic eye.
